ARPC: acquired reactive perforating collagenosis RPC: reactive perforating collagenosis INTRODUCTION Acquired reactive perforating collagenosis (ARPC) is a type of perforating disorder that is often associated with underlying systemic diseases, such as diabetes mellitus, renal failure, or malignancy. Giant variants of ARPC may reach up to 2 cm in size and have been reported in only a handful of cases. We present a patient with giant ARPC in the setting of metastatic breast cancer and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
